What Does Called of God Mean?

Every active organization is constantly looking (calling/advertising etc.) for people to support their organization. Why? So that they and others can receive what their organization offers. However, God’s organization has been dormant on earth ever since the time of Christ and His disciples. We know this because we have not seen this power, which can overcome sickness and death, ever since that time. This is why God is calling people today to help restore and support His organization, His kingdom, in all the world. Why? So that everyone will be able to find His place and receive what He offers. Called of God simply means that you are responding to a need of God. God needs people today to represent and support His organization, his kingdom on earth. This is no different than any other organization who are constantly looking for people to support their organization. The Bible describes God’s organization as a sheep fold where you have the Great Shepherd (Christ) and then you have the good shepherds (His disciples) who run His organization and who search out and look after its members (His sheep). The sheep represent the consumers who support God’s organization (give their wool, their tithes). God’s promise or his product is eternal life, which is a power that Christ and His disciples demonstrated some 2000 years ago. So, is God calling you? The answer is yes, He’s calling everyone today to support the restoration of His organization, His kingdom on earth. Then, everyone will be able to find His place and receive what He offers, which is this incredible power that can restore all things including the sick and the dead. Jesus said to His disciples, “ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you”. JOHN 15:16 Why? Because they were willing to follow what He said. In other words, if you hear God’s calling and if you are willing to keep all his commandments, then you have been chosen by Christ to be one His disciples. However, if you want what God offers and still be able to live your life as you chose, then you can do this simply by supporting His organization with your tithes and offerings. Most people will choose to be one of God’s sheep rather than a disciple who is required to forsake all their earthly possessions and represent God’s kingdom on a full-time basis. A disciple’s job is to be a good shepherd where he/she is responsible to search out and look after God’s sheep and to make sure that they are healthy and well fed with His word. The choice is yours and either choice is a righteous (good) choice in God’s eyes.
