Is There Marriage in God’s World?

No, Christ made it clear where he says, “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.” MATTHEW 22:30 So, it appears that once the resurrection has taken place and we are now living in God’s world, marriage will then become a thing of the pass. In other words, it appears that God wants humanity to have the freedom to love one another as His angels in heaven love one another. When asked what is the greatest commandment of God, Jesus said, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” MATTHEW 22:38-40 Loving your neighbour as thyself can also be stated as “doing unto others as you would have them do unto you”. This is the guideline that instructs God’s angels on how they are to love God as well as one another. This also is how God wants humanity to learn to live once His world has been established here on earth. Now, the only way we can love God with all our heart, soul and mind is by supporting His organization with all our heart, soul and mind here on earth. We can do this by being generous with our tithes and offerings, attending meetings and helping His elect in any way we can. God’s incredible power will then help us to be able to love our neighbour as ourselves. Having no more marriage means that there will be no more divorces and no more adulteries.. However, it’s important to understand that this is not going to happen until the resurrection when Christ in person is going to rule here on earth. Having no more marriage will have a dramatic effect on how we live but we are not to implement this part of God’s plan without the direct help of Christ himself. It appears that Christ is going to instruct the world in person on how we are to live and work together in His world.

The Perfect World

God has taken the time (billions of years?) to create and secure what appears to be the perfect world where there will be no more divorces, adulteries, sickness or death and where life will last forever.
