What Are God’s People Going to Be Doing During The Great Tribulation?

Jesus said to His disciples, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end (the great tribulation) come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be”. MATTHEW 24:14-21

The book of Daniel describes it best what God’s people are going to be doing during this time. “And arms shall stand on his (the anti-christ’s) part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination of desolation that maketh desolate. And as such as do wickedly against the convenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white”. DANIEL 11:31-35 God is going to step in and end the great tribulation after 3½ years. The first resurrection, the rapture, the wrath of God and the return of Christ are all going to take place shortly after the great tribulation but not before.

The facts and the Bible are telling us that God’s people need to be informed and well prepared for this time of great trouble that our world has never seen before nor ever will see again.
