The Daily Sacrifice?

Jesus said to His disciples, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” MATTHEW 5:48 In the old testament time, Moses offered up two lambs without blemish as a sacrifice before having a meeting with God. This was symbolic of God’s commandments, which were given to us by Christ, confirming that it takes 2 disciples to form God’s meeting place on earth. Disciples are to sacrifice or give up their lives (work full time) to represent God (His kingdom) on earth and they are to be perfect or without blemish in His eyes. So, what does this mean? No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. How then can a disciple be perfect in the eyes of God? There is only one way. A disciple must be willing to keep ALL the commandments of God that Christ gave us. This is what makes a disciple perfect or without blemish in the eyes of God. Jesus said to His disciples, “Be ye perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect”. MATTHEW 5:48 Two disciples form God’s kingdom on earth. This is no different than any other organization because it normally takes at least two representatives to form an organization. Jesus said to His disciples, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” JOHN 15:7 and “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” MATTHEW 18:19 This means that two disciples, who agree and follow God’s word are to have the same power as Christ. Jesus said to His disciples, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” LUKE 9:23 This is what the daily sacrifice in Daniel 9:27 appears to be talking about. However, there are two different daily sacrifices that will be going on at this time. One will be the real daily sacrifice where the two witnesses (two disciples) will be preaching daily in spreading “this gospel of the kingdom” and a daily animal sacrifice (two actual lambs) that will be sacrificed as in the days of old at the restored Temple in Jerusalem. Daniel prophesied that “in the midst of the week he (the anti-Christ?) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease” This appears to be talking about both the true sacrifice of the two witnesses and the oblation or animal sacrifice. The anti-christ is going to stop the daily sacrifice and set himself up as God in the temple at Jerusalem along with the abomination of desolation. This will end both the daily animal sacrifice as well as the daily sacrifice of the two witnesses who will then be forced to flee (go underground) and stop their daily sacrifice (preaching this gospel of the kingdom) in the streets.
