Abraham’s Seed
And the Lord said unto Abram (Abraham), “Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. GENESIS 13:15-17 God promised Abraham that he would give him and his seed all the land that he could see. In other words, God promises that Abraham and his decedents (his seed) will be everywhere. So, who are the descendants of Abraham? Are they the Jewish people? The answer is no*. The facts and the Bible are telling us that Abraham believed God (believed His word) and became God’s seed (His family) on earth and that his seed (his decedents) refers to everyone who believes in the God of Abraham, regardless of race. And if we believe, then we will follow God’s word as Abraham did. Abraham obeyed God and gave his tithe (10%) to Melchizedek who was God’s representative on earth at that time. This means that
