Why Is Babylon the Great THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS?
“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS” REVELATION 17:5 There are two great but very different worlds we can live in. However, only one of these two great worlds controls the physical world at any one time. The first is God’s world, which follows His plan (His word). The other is Babylon the Great, which is a world such as our world today that doesn’t follow God’s plan (His word) and is the world that Satan lives in. Satan’s world is the alternative to God’s world. Now, God is our Creator, and He is our Lord and Master of all. This means that Babylon the Great could not exists without God. So, Satan’s world, in God’s eyes, is like an unfaithful woman (a harlot) who does not follow her Masters will (his word); and gives birth to many other worlds (harlots) who do the same and follow what they think is right. These unfaithful worlds give birth to children of darkness who do not know the truth. Whereas, in God’s eyes, His world (His organization) is like a faithful woman who gives birth to many other faithful worlds (organizations) who follow His word. These faithful worlds give birth to His children who know the truth and are full of light.
Is Religion A Harlot in God’s Eyes?
The religious world, which includes Christianity, forms part of Babylon the Great. Based on the facts and the Bible, religion is viewed as a harlot in God’s eyes. Why? Because religion does not support God’s organization, which represents His world on earth. Instead, religion (unknowingly) supports only a world such as our world today that does not follow God’s plan (His word) and gives birth to children of darkness.
Important: Now, the reason why our world is filled with religion is because there is a need for it. Whereas, in God’s world, there is no need for religion. In our world, we all die and therefore, religion is needed to help comfort and give us hope. Whereas, in God’s world, we live forever, so there is no need for religion in His world.
