Only One Condition
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” JOHN 3:16 God gives us His word, His guarantee, that this power, which can overcome death, is real and that there is only one condition to receiving this power. God’s sole condition is we must believe in His only begotten Son, which means we must support His unique organization, His church, here on earth. Otherwise, we do not believe in Him, and we cannot receive what He/His organization (the Holy Ghost) offers until we do. This is a fact of life or the truth that will never change, and it will stand forever.
Do We Have to Keep the Sabbath Day?
No. It is no longer a requirement. Christ is the fulfillment of the Sabbath day. Jesus said, “For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day.” MATTHEW 12:8 The Sabbath day represents the day of rest. If we believe in Christ, then we are at rest and have peace with God. And, if we believe in God’s Son, then we will support His organization, which keeps His laws that fulfill ALL the laws of the old testament prophets. Christ said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy but to fulfill. MATTHEW 5:17. Again, Christ is the fulfillment of the old testament laws, and we are to keep God’s laws, which were given to us by Christ, simply by supporting His organization, His kingdom on earth, which keeps ALL His laws.
“And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.” Acts 5:42 In other words, God’s people are to walk with God daily as they go about their day. As well, God’s church, His place will offer daily meetings, which will help to feed His sheep so that they can become and remain strong and healthy.
Jesus says to His disciples (His representatives on earth), “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” LUKE 9:23 God’s meeting place, once restored, is to be open 24/7 so that everyone will be able to find His place of rest in time of need.
