What Happens When We Die?

Question: What happens when an organization dies or closes its doors? If we take the time to study this, then I believe it will help us to understand what happens at death. First, an organization is invisible. We cannot see an organization. For example, when we see McDonalds and the big M, we think we can see McDonalds, but we can’t. What we are looking at is the manifestation of McDonalds in the form of a building (a physical structure). If McDonalds closes its doors in one location and moves to another, the physical structure remains but McDonalds is no longer there. It appears that a human being is very similar. A human body appears to be a manifestation of a human being (soul) and if the human body dies, the human being or soul lives on. Jesus said, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” MATTHEW 10:28 So, the question then is where does the soul go at death? Now, it’s important to note that a human being is much more complex than an organization that’s been created by a human, but the principals involved appear to be very similar. So, where does the human being or soul go at death? Well, where does the soul of an organization go when it closes its doors for good. Is it completely gone? Or is it simply dormant (in word only) waiting to be restored. We now have the option to store unlimited amount of data in the cloud, and our methods are archaic when you consider that the computer and the internet have only been developed within the last 200 years. Whereas the facts and the Bible are telling us that it has taken our Creator billions of years to create life. This means that our Creator has a more sophisticated way of keeping track of all forms of life especially human life. So, is it possible that death happens when our physical body is cut off from life, which powers our body. Whereas our soul (our records) lives on in a state of dormancy waiting to be retrieved at some time in the future? Yes, it appears so. Science and the Bible are telling us that every human being that has ever lived and died is going to be resurrected in accordance with God’s word and be able to experience what His world offers.

Summary: Death appears to happen when our physical body is cut off from life, which powers our body. However, our soul, which is who we are (our records/history) lives on in a dormant state (word only) waiting to be restored and reconnected to life in accordance with God’s word.
